Blizzard tip: In winter it's always a good idea to keep a few things readily accessible in case of a power outage. In a tray here I've kept a lantern with new batteries, a candle, lighter, small torch, scissors with a few extra gadgets in it and a solar power phone charger, fully charged. One more thing I would add to the list is a battery powered radio to keep up with the news on weather. If you have any other tips then let me know!
